In 1990, I founded NetWave Technologies, Inc., a New York-based data communications company specializing in Internet connectivity, wide-area networks and local-area network solutions. It was an exciting time, as networking technology was rapidly becoming more accessible and affordable. Looking to capture this emerging wave of digital communication, I coined the name NetWave. NetWave Technologies was incorporated in 1990, and the name was trademarked in 2000.

NetWave began as a Novell Networks Authorized Partner and later evolved into a Microsoft Authorized Solution Provider. Over the following decade, our work increasingly focused on providing networking, digital communications and information security solutions to New York’s financial and investment community, particularly firms on Wall Street.

I later co-founded several other technology ventures, including Dragonfly, an early Internet video and media platform designed to collect and analyze marketing data.

Over the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to spend more of my time exploring projects driven less by business development and profit and more by curiosity, creativity and personal interest.
